2. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the website www.huamaniguitars.com and the sale of handmade musical instruments, in-stock products, and custom orders.
3. Products and handcrafted manufacturing
Most of our instruments are 100% handmade. Due to their artisanal nature:
- There may be small variations in color, wood grain, weight, or finish compared to catalog photos or descriptions.
- Lead times for custom instruments depend on order complexity and the workshop’s workload.
- Published specifications are indicative and may be updated.
4. Prices and payments
Prices are shown in Peruvian soles (S/) or United States dollars (USD), depending on the product. Accepted payment methods include, among others: VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, Yape, Plin, and bank transfers. Prices may change without prior notice until an order is confirmed.
For custom instruments or made-to-order builds, a deposit of at least 50% of the total is generally required to start production. The balance must be paid before delivery or shipping, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Orders and acceptance
An order is confirmed when we accept it expressly (for example by WhatsApp, email, or payment of the required deposit). Product availability in stock is subject to prior sale.
6. Custom instruments
For personalized instruments, wood type, finish, electronics, and other details must be agreed before production begins. Once manufacturing has started according to the agreed specifications, major changes may not be possible or may involve additional cost and time.
7. Shipping and delivery
We ship within Peru and, where agreed, abroad. Shipping costs, times, and conditions will be informed for each order. Risk of loss or damage in transit passes according to the shipping method and carrier terms agreed with the customer. Free shipping, when offered, applies only under the conditions stated for that promotion or order.
8. No returns / no refunds
There are no returns and no refunds once the required deposit (including the 50% payment for manufacturing or for purchase of an in-stock instrument) has been made, except where mandatory consumer law in the applicable jurisdiction requires otherwise.
By paying the deposit or full price, you acknowledge the handmade nature of the product and this no-return policy. Claims limited to manufacturing defects attributable to the workshop will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may result in repair or other remedy at our discretion, without constituting a general right of withdrawal.
9. Warranty
We stand behind workmanship consistent with artisanal guitar making. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, improper storage, extreme humidity or temperature, unauthorized modifications, normal wear, or third-party repairs. Keep proof of purchase for any warranty claim.
10. Intellectual property
Website content, logos, photos, and texts are owned by HuamaniGuitars or their respective owners. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them for commercial purposes without prior written authorization.
11. Website use
You agree to use the site lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt its operation, scrape content abusively, or submit false information in inquiries or orders.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HuamaniGuitars is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or from delays in custom production beyond reasonable control (including material supply, force majeure, or carrier delays). Our total liability related to an order shall not exceed the amount actually paid for that order.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru. For disputes, the parties submit to the competent courts of Lima, Peru, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights that cannot be waived.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms and Conditions. The “last updated” date will appear on this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes awareness of the new version.
